How much is my old forklift battery worth in trade?+
Typically $200–$1,500 in credit, depending on voltage, amp-hour capacity, and condition. Higher-voltage and larger-capacity packs carry more core value. We quote the exact credit alongside your replacement.
Does my battery have to still work to trade it in?+
No. We take old, weak, and fully dead lead-acid forklift batteries. Even a pack that won’t hold a charge has recoverable core value, and that’s what the trade-in credit is based on.
Can I trade in my battery without buying a replacement?+
The trade-in credit applies when you buy a refurbished replacement from us. If you have an old battery and aren’t replacing it through us, give us a call and we’ll talk through the options.
Do you handle the disposal paperwork?+
Yes. Spent lead-acid batteries are a regulated waste stream, so we transport them under DOT rules and provide the documentation your facility needs to stay compliant.
How do you calculate the trade-in credit?+
Three factors: voltage, amp-hour capacity, and the physical condition of the cells and tray. We appraise the core and apply the credit directly to your replacement invoice.
Are these refurbished or new batteries?+
Refurbished. We rebuild existing packs. Replace weak cells, rebalance, refresh electrolyte, and load-test every cell. For ~70–85% of new performance at 40–60% of new cost, backed by a 12-month replacement warranty.
What warranty comes with a refurbished battery?+
Every refurbished pack carries a 12-month replacement warranty. If it fails, we swap it. With local service and no freight-back hassle.
