We're San Bernardino's local source for refurbished forklift batteries: built to save the warehouses, 3PLs, and manufacturing plants of San Bernardino, Riverside, and Fontana real money without giving up performance, service, or warranty.
Our story
Forklift Battery Depot was started to give Inland Empire operations a straightforward, local alternative to overpriced new batteries and faceless national suppliers. We run our own warehouse in San Bernardino, keep refurbished 24V, 36V, 48V, and 80V packs on hand, and answer the phone ourselves, so a failing battery doesn't mean a shut-down line and a week of waiting.
Who runs it
Forklift Battery Depot is owned and operated by Frank Pimentel. You deal directly with the owner on pricing, scheduling, and warranty, not a call center. We focus on one thing: forklift and industrial motive-power batteries for Southern California fleets.
Why refurbished
A new forklift battery can run $6,000–$10,000. A properly rebuilt one gives you roughly 70–85% of the performance at 40–60% of the cost. It keeps usable lead-acid cells out of the waste stream. For most single-shift warehouse operations, refurbished is simply the right call.
How we work
We partner with a vetted refurbishment shop that handles the cell-level work: discharge testing, cell replacement, rebalancing, electrolyte refresh, load testing. We own the customer relationship: sales, pricing, scheduling, warranty service, and trade-in logistics. That means one local point of contact for your quote, delivery, and warranty, not a national call center.
Where we serve
Across Southern California: free LTL freight with lift gate, installation coordination, and local warranty service across the Inland Empire: San Bernardino, Riverside, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and the surrounding region. Outside that zone, we ship nationally with freight quotes on a case-by-case basis.
